How a terrible leader can help you (wait, what?!)

What if instead of following leaders, we observed and learned from them?

At the very least, following a terrible leader can lead to frustration, but observing and learning from a terrible leader can take you to greater heights in your professional development (for example, you can identify what NOT to do and avoid making those mistakes yourself).

On the other hand, following an effective leader can lead you to believe you must rely on others to be successful, but observing and learning from an effective leader can help you create your own path to success.

Observing & learning > following

P.S. This approach can also help you release resentment, because you can find a way to gain value from every leader put in front of you, regardless of their effectiveness.
